ATC Awards - 2014
On Tuesday, 25 November 2014, Chairman STeve Attwell kicked off the 2014 ATC Awards proceedings by welcoming and thanking special guests, Debbie Alexander (President of Triathlon SA), Anthony Bradford (Chairman of WP Triathlon) and Mark Magielse (Ukubona, sponsor of the ATC Website for the last couple of years). Richard Murray was meant to be there but travel arrangements for his 5 month trip to Europe got in the way.
Whilst Col'Cacchio commenced with serving a quality three course meal, the evening unfolded with a good mix of entertainment, fun and awe at members’ exceptional performances and great service to the club over the past year (Oct ’13 to Sep ’14). We would like to thank all our members for their support during the past season. Special thanks to all the members who attended and provided loads of activity on social media. We have uploaded photos of the evening to our Facebook Page.

Performance Awards:
Dean Hopf (Best Athlete), Marilyn Fischer (Best Athlete), Dawood Goeiman (Best Junior), Jonty Low (Most Improved), Amy Barnes (Best Swimmer), Bernard Griesel (Best Cyclist), Kerry-Ann Marshall (Best Runner).
Alisha Myers won the Legends Challenge for consistent participation in events and the following were crowned Club Champions in various categories: Jean De Villiers (Ironman & Olympic distance), Kirsty Thompson (Ironman), Dean Hopf and Tracy Markham (Half-Ironman and Sprint), Karen Muller (Olympic Distance), Douglas Burger and Candice Van Wijk (Off-Road Triathlon), Ettienne Koekemoer (Duathlon) and Ross Rivalland (Off-Road Duathlon).
Service Awards:
