STeve Attwell is the founder and chairman of ATC. He has no set role besides keeping the club at the forefront of triathlon in Western Cape. As a job STeve is a full time coach at Embark Tri, where he inspires newbies into the sport. Embark Tri forms the stepping stone for the newbies into ATC Multisport. STeve has represented RSA in both triathlon and duathlon at world champs.
Gert looks after the day to day running of the Club, he is the GO TO man of ATC. Besides representing Western Province at both Triathlon and Duathlon, Gert has managed Professional cycling teams in the past. Gert is a pre-sales consultant for a large IT and Communications company.
Paul Gordon Brown
Paul is a chartered certified accountant (ACCA) and owns a tax and accounting franchise in Sea Point. He recently moved to Cape Town after spending 10 years in the UK. Paul is currently training to complete his first triathlon.
Barry is in charge of ATC's development athletes. He looks after the ATC development runners as well as the ATC Kids on the WP Kids Development Program. Barry coaches the ATC track sessions on a Tuesday evening. He is a Level 2 Middle and Long Distance Athletics Coach and a Level 1 Sprint and Hurdles Athletics Coach. As his day job, Barry works as a Group Training Instructor at Virgin Active.
Anthony Dean is a regular face at all ATC's activities and was responsible for affiliating ATC Running with WP Athletics. By day, Anthony works as a stock analyst for a large retailer.
Garth has been with ATC since 2012 and he has also been an Embark Running Coach for the past two years. By day Garth is the Operations Director for a Retail Emporium of food and shops and a Property Group.
Travys recently moved back to Cape Town from Durban and almost immediately got involved in Triathlons and started serving on the ATC Committee. Travys was a professional cyclist until about 5 years ago. By day, he is the owner of Noble Wealth.
