Comrades Results – Big 5 Entries – Weight Management

NEWS:

Congratulations to Marc and Trish Erasmus on the birth of their baby girl, Emilia, who was born on Sunday.

Big 5 Entries & Club Championship
Entries for the BIG5 Sport Challenge close tomorrow, 3 June!  This year, there will be a Multisport Adventure Club Championship as part of the challenge at the Knysna Oyster Festival so please make sure you specify ATC as your club when you enter.  You will collect points for ATC with each event you finish.
If you have already entered some of the individual events, like the Half Marathon or one of the bike races, and now wish to enter the Challenge instead, the cost of the events already entered will be deducted from your Big 5 or Big 5 Lite Entry Fee.  Just email big5@oysterfestival.co.za to confirm the balance of payment for Big 5 with the details of the events you had previously entered and your personal details. This year promises to be exciting with the club competition adding a new dimension to the challenge.
ATC will certainly be there in full force during the entire week!  All ATC members who entered for the Big 5 will get 15% off any ATC gear purchased to be worn during any of the events.

Nutrition Talk on Weight Management
Next Tuesday, after track, we will host a talk on Weight Loss and Maintenance by Tania Kapp, a Performance Nutritionist, Coach and Mentor.  If you would like to lose weight to improve your sport performance, want to feel healthy and energetic, or are struggling with your weight due to injury, this talk is not to be missed.  The cost is R100 per person and it will be held at 19:15 at the Green Point Cricket Club on Tuesday 9 June.
