SA Tri Champs – Supported Ride & Run this week
Congratulations to all finishers of the Cape Town Cycle Tour, which took place on Sunday. The weather was so nice that some, including STeve Attwell, did it twice! It also contributed to loads of PBs, we are sure. This is one event where we cannot download results, so we ask that members please capture their results on-line for us, so we can publish:

SWIM: The Canal Swims will be on Friday mornings at 06:00. We will adjust the start time slightly each week as it is now still dark at 06:00. However, no one will be allowed to start after 06:15. All swimmers must please sign in before the swim and sign out afterwards.
BIKE: On Thursday morning, at 05:30, we will do a road bike ride from Point Virgin Active.
On Saturday morning we will do a supported road bike ride, starting from The Paddocks Shopping Centre in Milnerton at 06:00. Please meet there at 05:45 to get your stuff into the vehicle. The ride will be to Franschoek and back, for 180 Km. We will provide a support vehicle and driver. Riders are requested to contribute R50 towards costs and fuel. We will have a couple of these rides leading up to Ironman and riders need only contribute once.
RUN: We will have a Track session on Tuesdays at 06:00 and on Wednesdays at 18:00. Sessions will be on the Green Point Athletics Track unless events are taking place there, which happens frequently during this time of year as we are in peak athletics season. In these cases, track will be at the Green Point Cricket Club (across the road).
This Saturday, 17 March, we will do a supported long run for those training for Two Oceans and Comrades. (Not the 18th as previously mentioned) We will run the Two Oceans Half Marathon route. We will start at 06:15, from the UCT Parking Area called Car Pool P4, Madiba Circle, close to the Southern end of the Rugby Field. This is the parking area you run past just before entering the field to finish the race.
