Are you satisfied with your race? yes yup
Which was the toughest section? The last 5 Km Inchanga to Bothas.  45 - 62km.  You're still going uphill on the 'downrun!'
Did you want to give up at any stage and, if so, where? Never :) Nope.  Giving up was not an option.  One foot in front of the other was a step towad the finish line. But there were definately a few stretches of footprints in the tarmac where I was being carried.
Suppose you had to push a wheel chair, with a fully grown person, for at least half the route (like James Chevallier and Brett Glen did for the The Chaeli Campaign), how much longer would the race have taken you / how would it have changed your race? Definitely more challenging.  Maybe 2.5 more hours.  Not sure how my body would feel though.  I have no doubt that is super tough on body and mind. These guys are amazing and embody what the spirit of Comrades is all about.  I would imagine doing it for someone or something else gives you a strength you never knew you had.  I cannot even imagine how much longer it would have taken and how I would have changed my race as its a completely different running style and strategy.  All I can say is hats off to these heros.  You're awesome.  I am humbled.

Which do you think is tougher, Comrades or Ironman (Full)? Comrades Don't know
What do you think of the medal? It's not about the medal. Love it!
Will you do it again? Yes! Give me another week or so, then I'll tell you.
What's Next? Enjoying the break. Getting ready for another event.
Any other comments or tell us your full story: Loved the atmosphere all round.  The spirit of the runners and support really carried me through and lifted me up near the end when body started to get tired and I wanted the end to come in the last 5 km.  I really enjoyed the Comrades Marathon.  It was harder on my body than a Full Ironman, but only because I hadn't done enough run specific training leading up to it.  I definitely do believe though, that the cycling milage and cross training between road and mountain bike and running strengthened all my muscles, kept me injury free and gave me the flexibility and durability in my muscles not to cramp during the race and finish relatively strong.  I'll go back in 2 or 4 years to aim for silver and top 20 women, now that I know what to expect and how I much further and harder I can push myself from the start!  Would recommend adding this challenge to all atheletes 'bucket lists'! Comrades is an absolute privilege to run.  The traditions, the rich history, the tangible spirit from beginning to end.  If you have ever considered doing this race, do it.  Commit when those entries come out in September and start training for one of your life's top memories.

Are you satisfied with your race? Stoked!  Yes
Which was the toughest section? 30-40 Km - Through the dead zone when everything starts to hurt and you know you are not even half way.  82 - 87 Km on a boring highway with gradual climb.
Did you want to give up at any stage and, if so, where? Never!  No
Suppose you had to push a wheel chair, with a fully grown person, for at least half the route (like James Chevallier and Brett Glen did for the The Chaeli Campaign), how much longer would the race have taken you / how would it have changed your race? 3 hours but the support from the crowds must be amazing.  I got so much extra support just for being a girl.

Any other comments or tell us your full story: LOVE Comrades! One of the best days of my year!
Worst supporter comment at 30 Km in:  "wow guys you are so far from the finish and all the hills are still coming"  Thanks buddy! :-)
Race went well, given the little training I managed to still fit in.  No major pain or blisters. Smooth race at a more or less consistent pace.
Started in seeding C, which meant it took a couple of minutes to reach the starting line.
Definitely going to run it again. Would love to catch silver next time provided I get more training in. (My first run was in 2011 (up-run), which I finished in 8:03:24)

Suppose you had to push a wheel chair, with a fully grown person, for at least half the route (like James Chevallier and Brett Glen did for the The Chaeli Campaign), how much longer would the race have taken you / how would it have changed your race? Would never have finished. Would have added atleast 2 hours. i would have walked a lot more on the up hills. Much longer.

Are you satisfied with your race? Was for fun with mate Yes I aimed for a faster time, but it was not to be.
Which was the toughest section? None, ran easy with a mate. 35 to 60 Km The whole race was tough. The downhills were tough on the legs.
Did you want to give up at any stage and, if so, where? Nope Drummond From 40 Kms in I wanted to give up, but that is due to a lack of sufficient training.
Suppose you had to push a wheel chair, with a fully grown person, for at least half the route (like James Chevallier and Brett Glen did for the The Chaeli Campaign), how much longer would the race have taken you / how would it have changed your race? Probably around the same time as  I wasn't running hard. Not sure. I am not sure.  That must have been tough!
