Ironman Africa Champs:
Congratulations to all who completed Ironman Africa Champs in Port Elizabeth on Sunday!  We will publish all our results in the full Newsletter next week.  For now, we would just like to thank all the members who signed up with Ironman TriClub under ATC.  Atlantic Triathlon Club won Division II at Ironman PE and thereby qualified for the European Club Champs taking place at Ironman 70.3 Barcelona, in May 2018!  We are also currently leading Division II in the overall TriClub standings Worldwide!  So if you are planning to do an Ironman event this year, of any distance, please ensure that you sign up for the TriClub program before the race.

ATC Vests & Gusts
We have received stock of ATC Running Vests and have all sizes available at R280 each.  Our wind / showerproof Pacmac has been replaced by the new ATC Gust, which is of superior quality and can be used for running or cycling.  We are hoping for the traditional Easter rains in the Cape next week so be sure to get yours before then.  The ATC Gust, as per the image below, is R380 for members and R420 for non-members.

If you would like to collect gear or licenses this week still, you can do so at the following times & locations:
The ATC Container at GPCC on Friday afternoon from 16:00 till 18:30.
The ATC Ranger at the Canal Swim on Saturday afternoon from 13:30 till 15:00.  The swim start is in the V&A Waterfront near the Cape Grace Hotel.

The ATC Office will also be open in the ATC Container, at Green Point Cricket Club, next Tuesday morning from 06:00 till 07:30 and on Wednesday evening from 17:00 till 19:30

TRAINING:  Details here...

SWIM:  The canal swim will be on Saturday afternoon at 14:00.  The canal has now been completely re-opened and the water taxis will be in operation on Saturday afternoons.  We have to eliminate two way traffic in the straight between our start (still near Cape Grace) and the Island.  All swimmers must therefore be ready to start at 14:00 and no late starts will be allowed.  Swimmers must keep far left, within an arm’s length of the canal wall.

BIKE:  There are no rides scheduled for this week / weekend.

RUN:  Track will continue as per normal on Tuesday mornings at 06:00 and Wednesday evenings at 18:00.
