19 Aug '18: TSA Registration

TSA 2018-19

Triathlon South Africa (TSA) License registration for the 2018-19 Season is open and you can now register to have your license ready for events happening in September.  TSA has implemented a new registration system to make it quick & easy to register.

TSA License fees for the new season will increase by R20.  However, if you register before 30 September 2018, you will still pay last year's fees:
Full TSA Senior License:  R450 (R470 from 1 Oct)
Senior Recreational License: R280 (R300 from 1 Oct)
Junior TSA License: R350 (no increase)

Why register for the season?

1) Race often!

The Triathlon Calendar for 2018-19 is already pretty full with entries for most of the following events already open:

Cape Ultra Tri & Sprint (if you bought a day license for this event you will get a refund at registration).
Freshpak Fitness Festival, Clanwilliam.
Cape Cross 3-Day Off-Road Triathlon.
Slanghoek On & Off-Road Triathlons.
Race2Stanford Ultra Triathlon.
Woolworths TRI.
Lomond Off-Road Triathlon
Ironman African Tour:  IM70.3 Buffalo City, Ironman African Champs PE, IM70.3 Durban.
XTERRA Grabouw
West Coast Warm Water Weekend.

These events can also be used to qualify for the CTTA Triathlon Team to go to Nationals.

2) Anybody can win it!

All of the above events will count towards the Western Cape Triathlon Age Groupers League.  We will crown this season's winner at the CTTA Awards evening on Thursday, 23 August.  The new league will kick off with the Cape Ultra & Sprint.

3) Race SA DU Champs on home turf!

CTTA will host the 2019 SA Duathlon Championships at the Killarney International Raceway, in July.  We will try and host two District qualifier / Championship events at the same venue before SA Champs.
