Congratulations to everyone who finished one of the Two Oceans Trail or Road Runs.  We have published our club results futher down in this email.  Please note that only runners who entered under ATC Running will be listed.  ATC Members who are licensed through other running clubs will unfortunately not appear on our results.  The format in which results are provided does not enable us to search for all our members’ results.

The 2017 SA Duathlon and LD Duathlon Championships will be hosted by KZN Triathlon on the 2nd of July 2017 at the Midmar Resort.  You can download all the event details from the online version of this newsletter on our News Blog.

Ironman Africa Champs:

What a day at Ironman Africa Champs in Port Elizabeth on Sunday 2 April!   The weather was as good as it gets in PE and of the best ever experienced at this event.  No wonder that records tumbled.  Still, it was an Ironman, and it was 226.2 Km and everyone who finished had to get through this distance.  Congratulations to you all!

West Coast Warm Water Weekend

ATC'ers Results at the West Coast WarmWater Weekend, held on 18 & 19 March 2017.

The Vets ruled at this year’s Warmwater Weekend with four of the 6 podiums in the men’s and ladies Long Triathlon going to (young) Veterans.  Iain Mc Gregor was second overall (1st Vet) and Emma Alsop was second in the ladies race (2nd Vet).  Alice Oosthuizen was 3rd overall (1st, 18-39) and Alex Antonakis was 2nd in the 18-30 AG.
