XTERRA SA Champs - Grabouw

ATC'ers results from XTERRA Grabouw, held on 25 & 26 February 2017.  No less than five SA Champs for ATC here!

Richard Murray is the new XTERRA South African Champion after battling it out in Grabouw with reighning chanp Bradley Weiss.  It is Richard’s 2nd XTERRA SA title after he also won in 2013.  With this, Richard qualified for XTERRA Worlds, happing on Maui in October, but he has not yet decided if his schedule will allow him to race.

Ironman 70.3 Buffalo City - 29 January 2017

The weekend is East London did not disappoint and we had a great time with all the ATC’ers!  After some adverse weather and sea conditions on the days leading up to the event, race day arrived with near-perfect conditions (well, for East London).  The sea wasn’t particularly rough but the swim seemed slow.  The bike demanded its dues on the way out but there was some pay-back tailwind on the return.  The run was, as always, hot and tough!
